Airport Update

We have a confirmation from the director at the airport, and a date has been set for the installation of the show the last part of April. We are seeking our members best work, to showcase our amazing talent. Three dimensional or small 2 D works are needed, 10 to 20 pieces depending on the height of each piece for the pylons. We also need 8 to 10 2- D pieces for posters to go on the pylons.
We will be discussing this exciting event at our next general meeting on Tuesday the 16th of Feb. If you are interested in participating in the show it is very important that you attend. The First Saturday in Smithville Art Festival will kick off its fourth season in downtown Smithville, Texas on March 6, 2010 from 10 am to 5 pm. The Festival, which features fine art and handmade craft vendors, is free and open to the public. The March Festival will also feature live music by The Peterson Brothers and Sarah Page, free kids’ art activities and live art demonstrations.
